Employees are eligible for dental and vision coverage if they are eligible for the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program (they do not have to be enrolled).
Annuitants are eligible for dental and vision coverage.
For Postal Service members and annuitants, coverage under the Postal Service Health Benefits (PSHB) program will replace coverage under the Federal Employees Health Benefit (FEHB) program.
Care for the inside of the teeth, gum care, and major restorative services (crowns, complete dentures, fixed and removable bridges). The 50% does not apply to some of the main restorative services and care for the inside of the teeth (root canal and replacements), in which case a 30% would apply.

Triple-S Salud offers a supplementary plan under the Federal Employee Dental Program (FEDVIP), a different program from the Federal Employee Health Benefits (FEHB). This supplementary plan provides broad dental coverage for employees and retirees from the federal government and uniformed services retirees. The service area is Puerto Rico.
